Terms & Conditions
Floor preparation
· All subfloors must be sound, smooth, clean, free from contaminants & permanently dry in accordance with installation of resilient floor coverings - code of practice in line with the current BS Standard
· We reserve the right to revisit our quotations after uplift of existing floor coverings or after further site survey.
· Our quotation is based on cleared areas only, unless stated. We are happy to assist in moving furniture and the like, however, Peak Flooring Contractors UK Ltd accept no responsibility for damage to property whilst been moved.
· There is no provision in our quotation for the following, unless stated.
* Cleaning of subfloors.
* Supply & installation of damp proof membrane.
* Protection of floor finishes.
* Out of hours works.
* Supply of lighting, heating, or power. This is to be provided by the main contractors unless agreed otherwise.
* Uplift and removal of existing floor coverings.
* Silicone sealant.
Floor fitting/finishes
· Floor finishes are always quoted & installed in the most economical layout unless otherwise stated. Laying direction of the flooring will always be kept inline with this statement unless otherwise requested in writing.
· As per all manufacturers recommended instructions, it is essential that a constant ambient temperature is set prior to installation and this is maintained throughout the installation progress. Failure to do so may cause irreparable damage with will void any manufacturer warranties, of which Peak Flooring Contractors UK Ltd can accept no liability. Furthermore, if we are requested to attend site to conduct works and the job is not in a suitable condition to install floor coverings, then a charge may be issued to cover any time or other expenses incurred.
· All materials remain property of Peak Flooring Contractors UK Ltd until they are paid for in full.
· Our defects period in 12 months from installation. Damages through no fault of Peak Flooring Contractors UK Ltd will incur a charge for repair or replacement.
· Whilst we endeavour to keep our quotations as low as possible, we reserve the right to review all quotations in the event of supplier increases.
· Peak Flooring Contractors UK Ltd request that we have full access to the working area without interruption of other trades to enable works to be carried out to the highest possible standard.
